Tidbits

I'm trying like crazy to catch up with blogging. I'm a month behind. And when you take as many pictures as I do...that is a lot of blogging. But, blogger says I've reached my photo limit (again) so I can't post anymore pictures. I've got to make my 2010 blurb book, then I can delete those posts...and have more space for pictures. So it may be a couple days. In the meantime, here are a bunch of tidbits about my crazy cute kiddos.

Ellie
~Ellie now has an imaginary friend. It is a purple and pink kitty that fits in the palm of her hand. She also plays with an imaginary ball that often gets stuck in the ceiling. I love that her imagination is finally opening. It's a beautiful thing
~One of Ellie's favorite things to say at the table (usually after someone burbs) 'sceuse yurself' (Excuse yourself) I think it's hilarious...and have no idea where that particular terminology came from.
~I was eating cotton candy and Ellie practically screams 'NOOOO! Mom! Don't eat a FUZZY!'
~We were at a reststop in the middle of the night on a roadtrip. Ellie needed to go potty, but was hardly awake enough for it. I was helping her when she looks up at me, so groggy, and says 'Mom, big potties sure are hard for little bums'
~Ellie tooted and exclaims 'do I have picey (spicy) cheese in my bum?' First of all ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Where on earth did that come from? But funny...
~In the toy room I hear a stern 'OH TAY. We're DONE' I ask, what's going on? Ellie replies 'Taydin is a DRUMP!' (I guess I often end things when dealing with grumps...)
~'Mom, suuuuuuuuger is my faybrit' (sugar is my favorite) again...?!?!? Whatever kiddo :)
~Ellie gives the best prayers. I'm not even kidding. They are well thought out. She uses 'thee' and remembers to please bless unkoh bwrad to be safe and things like that. But on occasion, the random slips in there. For instance, we are house sitting a neighbor's house...watering plants...feeding fish...and in Ellie's prayer she says 'an we so dahd (glad) to have bwrina's keys' ... Like...WOOHOO! we've got her keys...PARTAY!! :)

Kaydin
~Really into giving bones and kisses. He'll give himself bones. And the wall, and his toys. And he makes all his toys kiss each other.
~Tries really hard to say 'yellow'- WAH WOH
~More-'MO'
~Hello-EHOH or WOAHOH
~Dadgum-DAH UM
~Again-DIN
~'OWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW' When washing his face, blowing his nose, changing his diaper, or basically anything he doesn't want done he starts screaming 'ow' like we're torturing him
~on 4-17-12 he opened his first door all by himself. I feared for his life...running outside without me knowing, getting trapped in the garage, etc. But fortunately it was a one time thing...but I have a feeling it will start up again soon
~Rylee-started out RAHRAH and is now YAHYAH
~Daniel-DEEDOO
~Kayden is very proud of his shirts, he's so excited about 'shisheee (fishy)' ones or '*gutteral growl* (dinosaur)' ones or 'Oo Oo Oo (monkey)' ones, and he always points out his cools shirts to people...first thing. And doesn't stop pointing and making the noise of what it is until you acknowledge it.
~Birds don't have trees out here, so they make nests in the top of people's windows. When Kayden (and Ellie) see birds flying toward our house they run out onto the porch to say 'SHOO' Kayden gets really into it waving his arms and yelling 'shoo shoo shoo shoo'. Good work kiddos
~Kaydo has said some verson of 'I love you' to daddy twice.
~When Ellie cries he'll start fake crying...the exact tone of Ellie's crying...she hates it...so he keeps doing it
~Elmo-'MAH MO'
~I did something he didn't like and he goes 'DAH UM MAMA' (Dadgum, mama)
~Jump-'DUM DUM' (You'll notice everything he says in in all caps...that is because this boy is LOUD, and he does and says everything with gusto)
~Off- 'AH'
~Daisy Duck-'DEE DUH'
~Lots and Lots of Cars-'YAH' YAH' DOHDOH'
~Rice-'EYE'
~When he sits in the tub...and it's really warm...he tinkles. And he sits there looking so confused, trying to grab the little arc of tinkles (kind of gross, but it is hilarious to watch him...want to video tape it, but pretty sure he'd be against that in the future.

Ellie has got an attitude, Kayden fights everything, but Ellie is SO sweet and caring, and Kayden is SO silly and happy. I love these kiddos. I just need a bucket of energy to guzzle every morning. :)
