Livin on Schedule

I was having a difficult time with the kiddos. We were often getting bored and driving each other crazy. Just waited around for daddy to come home, getting into things we weren't supposed to, watching too much, etc etc etc. So I had enough. I decided to make a schedule. On the schedule we have different 'times' such as Imagination Time (play in kitchen, dress ups, with little people, etc) Building Time (blocks, legos, blox, train set, etc) Exercise Time (dancing, outside, playground, etc) Free Play Time (do whatever) Clean Up Time (obvious) School Time (letters, numbers, coloring, etc) Game Time (Elefun, Connect 4, etc) Sensory Time (sensory table, playdoh, etc) you get the idea. We have all these different 'times' and it helps me focus the day so we aren't driving each other crazy. The kids are stimuated, get excercise, and we have variety to our days. So far, it's worked great. We don't stick to it perfectly, but I use it as a general guide. And we get about four different 'times' in each day, so there is variety between days too. It's been a lifesaver. Love it. (It's magnetic...pretty sah-weet)
