I had a dream/nightmare last night that I was told I had 8 weeks to live...you can bet I called the OBGYN back at 9:00 sharp this morning.
Atypical Squamous Cells of Undetermined Significance. Whew...that's a mouthful.
Basically means there were some abnormal cells, but the reason why they were abnormal isn't known...HPV was negative which is the big one, so they said to come back in 6months to a year to be checked again and make sure that things have either gone back to normal or stayed the same. If they go back to normal...great! If they have stayed the same or gotten worse they'll do more testing.
It still scares me, Cancer scares me. So, the possibility of the threat of cancer scares me.
