Many many MANY pictures to come, but for now here is a list of accomplishments and funny things.
Ellie
~Can jump, with both feet off the ground...she's pretty proud of it
~In Flagstaff Matt found a horny toad and Ellie was adamant we name him 'Dooth' I suggested Charles or something, but she was sure it was Dooth...so...it was Dooth
~I did her hair, Matt asked if we put hairspray in her hair, she responds 'IS REINDEER' I whisper, 'you mean moose?' 'IS MOOOSE'
~Before our trip to Flagstaff we were eating dinner and talking about going on this trip. Ellie pipes up with 'IS DUNNA BE A BUMPY RIDE!'
~She loves to talk on the phone. Her phone conversations are hilarious. She will say 'hey-o' then dive right into whatever we're doing...maybe takes a breath...maybe. 'hey-o weeatinbrehfesanyunchansanwichanjuiceanwepayinwittoysotaybye' or she'll start out with 'sooo.....' and then dive into it
~You can tell what I say to her...'oh dreat!' (Oh great) 'certainee' (certainly...I didn't know I said this) 'oh tay jes a minute' 'prah-bee not' (probably not) 'oh my duhness' (Oh my goodness)
~She'll sing the backyardagins song 'WE DA BAT-AR-DAH-DINS'
~She likes to make up words...and things they are pretty funny. Can't think of any actual ones right now, but I'm sure if you string a bunch of sounds together you'd have one of her words
~She's started calling me 'Tywehoh' (Tyrelle) It is cute, but I remind her, I'm mommy.
~Randomly pipes up at dinner 'Duhd dinner. yummy yummy. Dankoo Mommy." (Good dinner...Thank you) Music to my ears especially since she wasn't helped at all
~Also music to my ears...'Taydin tum pay!' (Kayden come play)
~She loves her hippopotamus jammies and asked me 'you dot yer hat-toe-pump jammies?' Nope I don't have any. 'doe a Wah-mart?' :)
~Speaking of Walmart, the other day she was carrying around her purse and said 'I need sum-tin. A doe a wah-mart'
~Ellie holds her piggies when it is windy so that they wont blow away.
~In response to many questions Ellie will say 'what bout sumtin do wit....' and then answer. (what about something to do with...) What would you like to eat? 'what bout sumtin do wit.....joose'
~I can't remember what I gave her, maybe a cookie (which she doesn't really like by the way...weird) and she wails 'is NOT a tweet. is juss DINNER!'
BOTH
~Went on the innertube with daddy...pulled behind a BOAT! Of course the one time I don't have a camera there is a moment that probably wont happen again. So cute. They both loved it.
Kayden
~On Thurs June 28. Stands alone in middle of floor
~Friday June 29 took his first REAL steps
~He's a pro with a fork
~He can fall asleep anywhere. His head will just drop, and he'll be out.
~Books books books books This kids loves books like I've never seen a kid love books before.
~His past favorite book:Day out with Daddy. Current favorite book: Hand Hand Fingers Thumb Always favorite books: Parts and Tickle Monster
~says 'AHHH' after drinks...and burps...and toots (boy much?)
~Whispered (barely heard him) 'rah rah' while pointing to a dog (Only once, couldn't get him to do more)
~Can sign more...and uses it frequently while eating
~Loves to be chased and tickled and wrestling daddy is heaven. His laugh is the most infectious laugh there is.
~This kid is danger. You know the line from the Lion King from the hyena 'I laugh in the face of danger' that is Kayden...he literally laughs. He laughs when he's in trouble, when he's doing something he knows he's not supposed to (he'll wait until I see him...then do whatever he's not supposed to do, while laughing). this kid is all about the reaction.
~He LOVES to fold his arms, and he's so proud of himself when he does. But he refuses to fold his arms when asked...only does it on his terms.
Oh man I love these crazy kiddos
