I've wanted an advent calendar for a long time. But haven't found one I like. I mean, there isn't a whole lot of excitement in opening a door for a Hershey's kiss, lets be honest. Then I saw an idea that I loved. An advent calendar of activities. the presentation wasn't cute, so I came up with the little stockings. We had a blast doing things like, watching a movie and eating popcorn as a family. Camping out in front of the Christmas tree. Visiting cousins. Buying presents for each other. Wrapping said presents. Going to the Festival of trees. etc. Some day, when we have more room, these stockings will be hung up on a string and be more cute, but for now this worked and we had so much fun.
